What is Pairify?
Pairify is an AI-powered app for coffee shops and bakeries that analyzes your Square catalog and inventory data to provide real-time pairing recommendations. This helps increase average ticket size and improve inventory utilization.
Which Square permissions does Pairify require?
The application requires read access to several data points to function:
  • Items & Inventory — ITEMS_READ and INVENTORY_READ to ensure recommendations reflect current stock levels and catalog changes.
  • Merchant Profile — MERCHANT_PROFILE_READ to retrieve basic business information.
  • Orders & Customers (optional) — ORDERS_READ and CUSTOMERS_READ can be used for historical purchase analysis to refine pairing recommendations.
Does Pairify recommend items that are out of stock?
No. Pairify utilizes the Inventory API to ensure recommendations always account for stock levels. If an item's stock is zero, it will not be suggested.
Can I control or edit the recommendations?
Yes. Merchants can enable, disable, and edit recommendations as well as configure pairings. Recommendations are never automatically forced by the app.
What does the installation process look like?
The merchant setup guide consists of five steps: 1. Install App, 2. Connect Square, 3. Sync Catalog, 4. Configure Pairings, and 5. Receive Recommendations.
